South Carolina Man Stops Armed Home Invader

Fearing for her and her children’s safety from an ex-partner, a Buffalo woman invited a friend to stay with the family for protection. That foresight proved invaluable when her ex-partner kicked open the front door one evening and brandished a firearm. The armed friend then engaged the intruder, killing him in an exchange of gunfire. Authorities determined that the defender had been invited into the home, had a right to be there and acted in self-defense. No one else was injured in the incident.
