Introduction to Handgun: Vancouver

Are you brand new to firearms? Have you recently purchased a handgun, but are not sure how to properly use it? Has it been YEARS since you've shot a gun and feel a refresher course might be a good idea? This is the class for you. The Introduction to Handgun class covers everything from firearms safety rules and safe gun handling, to the fundamentals of firing a handgun. We will begin in the classroom for the first half of the class. There will be a Power Point presentation and inert gun handling exercises. After a brief break, we will move out to the range for the live fire portion of the class. Bring your own firearm, or schedule ahead of time to rent one. Rentals and ammunition for the rental are available for an additional $25 per person. Rentals MUST be arranged via email 24 hours prior to the start of class. REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Baseball hat Eye protection Hearing protection (electronic muffs preferred, but passive are acceptable.) 1 unloaded handgun in a case 75 rounds of ammunition for your firearm If renting a firearm, please watch for an email from Lisa to coordinate specifics.
